Het bestand bevat ook hoogte-informatie over het maaiveld en bepaalde objecten. Ook breuklijnen worden ingemeten. Het gegevensmodel van DTB-Nat is identiek aan het gegevensmodel van DTB-Droog. De precisie in x, y en z is beter dan 10 cm (m.u.v. 'zachte topografie').\r\nAGI beheert en bewaakt de kwaliteit van het DTB-Nat, en schakelt de markt in voor de benodigde fotogrammetrische en terrestrische metingen. Het streven is dat de actualiteit van DTB-Nat een jaar is.
