Samples from each net were screened for euphausiids. All euphausiids in the subset were identified to species, life history stage, and measured for length to the nearest 0.5 mm for larvae and to the nearest 1.0 mm for juvenile and adults. Thus krill abundance, distribution, and population structures can be mapped in both the vertical and horizontal planes. \r\n \r\nSampling was conducted in April-June 2001 and 2002.
