The general aim of the study was to examine the spatial patterns in the assemblages of these mid- and lowshore habitats on different spatial scale","EngDescr":"Data came from study of patterns of distribution of benthic sessile assemlages (Ionian Sea, Greece). Data were collected in June 2001. Sampling was carried out in 7 random location along the Greek rocky coast 10s-100s of km apart one each other.  At each location, 4 sites (separated by 100s - 1000s of m) were randomly selected.
