Data has been collected in frame of the Polish Monitoring Programme of the Baltic Sea in frame of the contract with Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection.","EngDescr":"This monitoring program has started in 1999. Zoobenthos data will be available for the time series of 1979-2012. Instantly available data regards phytoplankton, zooplankton, zoobenthos and phytobentos individual species, abundance, biomass (wet and dry) as well as chlorophyll a concentration in accordance with HELCOM COMBINE Manual. Samples were collected for number of sampling stations visited usually 5 times a year. The two of them are high frequency stations visited 12 times a year. Zoobenthos and phytobentos data are collected once and twice a year respectively. Station data include geographical coordinates and sampling dates, sampling water depth, layer, bottom substrate coverage etc., and may be supplied with physical parameters: temperature, salinity, oxygen concentration and saturation, pH.
