De databank bevat beschrijvende bodemgegevens (bodemprofiel) en fysicochemische data voor elke pedogenetische horizont tot 1.5 m diepte. Het is de belangrijkste coherente databank die de toestand van bosbodems beschrijft van rond de jaren zestig en een onmisbare gegevensset om de temporele evolutie van bodemvariabelen sinds dan na te gaan.","OrigDescr":"De HIBBOD database bestaat uit 4 deelmodules (datasets): (1) Profiel, (2) Horizont, (3) Vegetatie en (4) Oppervlaktemonster module. De laatste twee modules zijn toegevoegd aan de AARDEWERK gegevens.
