The amphipod crustaceans were identified by Alberto Martín and Yusbelly Díaz (USB) and confirmed by Manuel Ortíz, from Centro de Ivestigaciones Marinas (CIM), Universidad de la Habana, Cuba. \r\n\r\nVoucher specimens are in Museo de Ciencias Naturales (MCN), USB, Caracas, Venezuela.
