Though there have been detections by OTN (Ocean Tracking Network) acoustic receivers, these are currently being used for in-progress research.\r\n\r\nThis dataset is the OBIS version of the Shippagan, New Brunswick cod tagging project. These data are for display on the OBIS portal and associated mapping programs and for download for end-user analysis.","EngDescr":"The objectives of this project are first to study the seasonal migration of the Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) in the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence and secondly to examine possible interaction between cod and grey seal (Halichoerus grypus).
