Study extent - Lower Rhine/Meuse delta was studied for damage of fisheries to salmon and Alosa fallax and Alosa alosa stocks in the late 19th century. Sampling description - Fishing with a static net from an anchored boat in strong tidal or fluvial currents. The net has a wide opening wich leads to a narrow end. In Dutch: 'ankerkuil'. Method Steps - Data from reports were digitalized.
