As part of the compensating measures, the Dutch national government established a series of protected areas in the Voordelta region and is following the effects of these measures.\r\n\r\nThis dataset contains abundances and biomasses of fish in the \u201cVoordelta\u201d. The set exists of a pre-protected status data (2003 \u2013 2007) and a post-protected status (currently still under embargo).","EngDescr":"<p>\r\nFish were caught both using a fine mesh- shrimp trawl, which was pulled for 15 minutes at a speed of 2-3 knots. The research vessel (the Luctor) followed the depth contourlines during each transect as to maintain a constant fisshing dept.\r\n<p\/>\r\n<p>\r\nSome of the data from 2005 were caught by the commercial fisshing vessel the GO58.
