This kind of information is being used in Tanzania to develop a National Sea Turtle Status Report which will eventually feed into a National Sea Turtle Recovery Plan. <br><br>To date, satellite tags have been deployed on nesting green turtles in Mafia Island, Temeke and Pangani which are the three most important green turtle rookeries in Tanzania.
