Met het schepje worden 3 monsters uit de bodem gestoken die als één worden behandeld (totaal bemonsterd oppervlak=0,1m²; 7 cm diep). Voor de steekbuis staalnames wordt per monsterpunt een mengmonster gemaakt van 2 steekbuis-monsters (PCV ring met een diameter van 24,4 cm, totaal bemonsterd oppervlak=0,1m²; 7 cm diep).
