Odessa National I.I. Mechnikov University zooplankton datasets collected in the Zmiinyi Island coastal waters in the Black Sea in the framework of national research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine in 2003-2006. These datasets include about 1000 records with abundance and biomass for over 70 zooplankton species in 139 samples. Zooplankton sampling was performed using modified Apstein net with mesh size = 53 mkm.
