Included are the larger nocturnal motile reef-dwelling invertebrates. The counts of common/easily identifiable fish taxa from the Coral Beach Nature Reserve are also conducted annually during the summer, and employs a raondomly-located systematic array of 7X2 meters survey plots. Fish are counted in the water column above each plot for 10 minutes, and within coral colonies in the plot.
