Data collected on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) within the RWS project 'Research mud dynamics Ems Estuary' that was carried out by Deltares and Imares in the context of the Water Framework Directive (WFD). Samples collected 1 m below the water surface with a pump system from a ship, then filtered in laboratory. The Imares data start around low tide at station Huibertgat (station 1), but since the Imares measurements cover more stations the tidal phase differs within the estuary.
