The dataset is appropriate for global, regional or local research of atmospherically-induced high-frequency sea-level oscillations.","EngDescr":"The MISELA (Minute Sea-Level Analysis) dataset encompasses 1-minute quality-checked sea-level records of nonseismic sea-level oscillations at tsunami timescales (T<2h) obtained from 331 tide-gauge sites. The records on which the dataset is built are obtained from: (1) Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Sea Level Station Monitoring Facility, (2) Finnish Meteorological Institute and (3) Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, and are at least 2-years-long with less than 30% data gaps. As the original data is raw and contains numerous quality problems (e.g. spikes, shifts, drifts), the dataset has undergone through rigorous quality-control, including both automatic and manual procedures. Since the dataset is intended for research on atmospherically-induced high-frequency sea-level oscillations, the records observed during seismic tsunamis have been removed.
