The project is attempting to reveal physiological and biological interactions between sea trout and the coastal marine environment by investigating: (1) how sea trout habitat use and interaction with the environment vary with the season during the marine feeding migration, (2) whether sea trout are opportunistic feeders or individual feeding specialists during the marine feeding migration, and (3) whether or not spatial and temporal resolution of telemetry data can be enhanced by using autonomous underwater Vehicle technology.
