The dataset contains occurrence data of the algae found in the wider marine region of Alexandria within the year 1933","EngDescr":"The samplings were realised in one day trips with the use of the vessel \"El hoot\", a motor boat of 15 metres. In favourable weather conditions a rowing boat was used instead, in order to approach shallow waters and cliffs. The sampler for the benthic assemblages was a dredge with a 20*70 cm opening and in shallow waters the material was taken by diving.
