Many knowledge gaps persist on the lifecycle of this clupeid species. It is for instance unknown where shads reside at sea during their growing phase. In this project, we tag twaite shads with data storage tags (G5, CEFAS Technology ltd., UK) to geolocate their movement patterns at sea.
