Description in English

The fishes from the Belgian training ship Mercator 3 Pisces were collected between 1935-1936, comprising fishes from the African coast, the American coast, the Atlantic and from the Amazon-river. The specimens were brought to the museum by D W Adama and D V Zaslavsly. A few new species were described for this work.

Abstract in English

Data from the cruises of the Belgian training ship Mercator, 3: Pisces collection. The data were digitized by the Flanders Marine Institute using the citizen science platform DoeDat, and transformed according to the standards of the DwC Event core format.
