Al tratarse de una especie protegida y en un estado de conservaci\u00f3n deficiente son necesarias actuaciones por parte de la administraci\u00f3n para favorecer el \u00e9xito de estos eventos de nidificaci\u00f3n. Estas medidas de gesti\u00f3n se contemplan en las acciones previstas en el marco del proyecto LIFE IP INTEMARES coordinado por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentaci\u00f3n y Medio Ambiente a trav\u00e9s de la Fundaci\u00f3n Biodiversidad. <\/p>","OrigDescr":" LIBERACI\u00d3N DE EJEMPLARES<\/p> Para conocer la supervivencia y desplazamientos en el mar de tortugas nacidas en las playas valencianas, se va a proceder al marcaje y liberaci\u00f3n de 10 cr\u00edas de tortuga boba procedente de un nido encontrado en la playa de las Palmeras en Sueca (Valencia) en el a\u00f1o 2016. Estos ejemplares fueron trasladados por personal de la Unidad de Zoolog\u00eda Marina (UV) a la playa protegida de la Punta (P.N. de l\u2019Albufera) y una parte a incubadora en el Oceanogr\u00e0fic. En la playa el nido fue custodiado en el marco de un voluntariado (Campamento Tortuga) de la ONG Xaloc. Tras su eclosi\u00f3n el pasado a\u00f1o, una parte de los neonatos se liberaron en Sueca y 16 ejemplares se trasladaron al Oceanogr\u00e0fic donde han sido criados durante este a\u00f1o.
Para el marcaje de las tortugas se usar\u00e1n peque\u00f1os emisores satelitales de tan solo 17-18 g de peso que se adhieren al caparaz\u00f3n y permiten la localizaci\u00f3n en el mar de estas cr\u00edas. El marcaje ser\u00e1 realizado por investigadores del Campus de Gandia de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia.
