Profiles of the seafloor will be obtained pre- and post-storm at regular intervals.</p><p>Hand RTK-GPS, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and quad RTK-GPS methods are the surveys involved in the measurements. Hand RTK-GPS profiles, spanning 250 meters from seaward vegetation boxes to the low water line, were re-projected for improved temporal comparison. To cover areas beyond vegetation boxes, topography was extracted from UAV Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and merged with hand RTK-GPS profiles.</p><p>The finding obtained will provide understanding of the coastal dynamics in the Raversijde area, shedding light on the effectiveness of soft coastal defenses.
