Het doel van deze dataset is het verzamelen van real time data van waterstand en afvoergegevens en hoeveelheid neerslag op meetpunten verspreid over de bevaarbare waterwegen van heel Vlaanderen. Metingen werden verricht door het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium.
