The occurrence data with associated information (depth and date of collection) were retrieved from global open-access datasets Ocean Biodiversity Information System and Global Biodiversity Information Facility. The dataset contains grid coordinates (latitude/longitude pairs, projected in WGS84, representing the center point of each grid cell), the original province designation for the location and an updated province designation (where applicable).
