Grab samples data from subarctic fjords in the Norwegian Sea 2013-2015
Abstract in English
Macrobenthic dataset for three fjords in Nordland, Northern Norway: Saltfjord, Skjerstadfjord and Sørfolda. At each sampling station (36 stations total), two Van Veen grab (0.1 m2) samples were taken, sieved on a 1 mm mesh, and fixed with 4% buffered formaldehyde. The sorted individuals were identified to the lowest taxon possible (usually species level) and transferred to 70% ethanol. For each taxon, numbers, ind/0.1 m2, and biomass, mg/0.1 m2, are presented. The samples are stored at Nord University (Bodø, Norway)
