Econnection is a consultancy firm for nature conservation and habitat management, landscape and spatial planning, ecological related land use and development. The office offers a combination of practical and scientifically based research, advice, consultancy and support in a multitude of environmental disciplines and for a broad range of customers which are mostly national, regional and local governments and nature management organizations, but private landowners and users as well. The bulk of our work concerns landscape, nature, water and forest related topics both in pure nature areas and multi-functional cultural landscapes. Site evaluation, ecological impact assessment and mitigation are part of the job and meet the need for an integrated approach towards landscapes. Next to these, attention is given to multi-functional land use especially for recreation but also for other non-disturbing environmental activities. The importance of formulating clear objectives and approaches is imperative. All our activities, concepts and methodological approaches concerning the planning, layout and management of landscapes and habitats are directed towards implementation and focus on the reinforcement of landscape and ecological qualities or support new landscape concepts. Econnection employs a multidiscipline team of experts and maintains a strong partnership with other consultants and experts in the area of nature and landscape research and management in Belgium and abroad.

Econnection is een studie- en adviesbureau voor ecologische georiënteerde landinrichting en terreinbeheer. Het bureau verricht onderzoek, levert advies, coördineert en begeleid werkzaamheden op het vlak van de ruimtelijke planning en het natuur- en landschapsbeheer en dit zowel voor de openbare als de particuliere sector. Het dienstenpakket is ruim en gaat van planning tot uitvoering.
