Primary objective is providing a capability for carrying out advanced research\r\nof international status in all aspects of engineering in the marine environment. The Centre houses the\r\nonly experimental wave research facilities in Ireland which were significantly upgraded during the E.U.\r\nSTRIDE Operational Programme for Ireland (1991-1994). A wide variety of specialist instrumentation\r\nand high speed data acquisition systems is available together with a high quality electronic and\r\nmechanical workshop.
