It is located at the 4th floor of the old-chemistry building. \r\nSince its foundation, the Laboratory has developed significant activities in national and international level. Members of the Lab participate to a lot of committees and councils for the protection of the environment in northern Greece region. \r\nIt collaborates with the major institutions and research centres of Greece and other countries. \r\nThe Laboratory employees all the necessary infrastructure for education and research, being equipped with modern, high technology instrumentation. \r\nIt has its own station for monitoring the atmospheric pollution, which is located in the centre of the city of Thessaloniki.","AbstractOtherLang":" Το Εργαστήριο Ελέγχου Ρύπανσης Περιβάλλοντος ιδρύθηκε το 1977 (Π.Δ. 767/77 ΦΕΚ 249.5.9.77, τεύχος Α') και ανήκει στον Τομέα Φυσικής, Αναλυτικής και Περιβαλλοντικής Χημείας του Τμήματος Χημείας του Α.Π.Θ. Στεγάζεται στον 4ο όροφο του παλαιού Χημείου. \r\nΑπό την ίδρυσή του μέχρι σήμερα, έχει αναπτύξει σημαντικές δραστηριότητες σε εθνικό και διεθνές επίπεδο.
