Διευθυντής του υπήρξε ο Ν. Μοντεσάντος (1929-1933), τον οποίο διαδέχθησαν οι Δ. Καββάδας (1934-1947), Θ. Διαννελίδης (Ακαδημαϊκός) (1948-1974) και ο Ιωάννης Τσέκος (1975-σήμερα).
