The research activities of the Laboratory of Oceanology and Geosciences are carried out at the ‘Wimereux Marine Station' and the ‘Maison de la Recherche en Environnement Naturel’ and is located at Wimereux. The laboratory consists out of five research groups:

• Plancton ecology
• Benthic ecosystems and interface processes
• Biodiversity and climate
• Littoral morphodynamics
• Physical oceanography, transport and teledetection
