Special attention is given to the interaction of technology with society in all its aspects. The specific topics which are under investigation are: ° the influence of technology on production processes and vice-versa ° innovation management ° technological risks ad their control ° technological aspects of automation and their interaction with technology management ° development of methodologies for technology teaching in higher and continuing education. The integrated production management group studies operational industrial processes in their contem-porary economical and technological context. This research contains the study of logistic streams, such as monetary streams, material streams and information streams, known as supply or demand chains.
