- Prof. Fredsøe has authored and co-authored over 90 peer-refereed journal papers and over 100 conference papers on river and coastal sediment transport, and flow around offshore structures (including scour). He is the senior author of the book Mechanics of Coastal Sediment Transport, and the co-author of the books Hydrodynamics Around Cylindrical Structures; and Mechanics of Scour in the Marine Environment. He was actively involved in MAST I and MAST II projects. He coordinated MAS3 project SASME. Prof. Fredsøe received the 2005 ASCE Karl Emil Hilgard Hydraulic Prize.
