I have published identification guides for diverse audiences.\r\n<br>\r\nForty years experience in the taxonomy of marine crustaceans and environmental ecology has given me to a broad knowledge of the taxonomy of marine invertebrates that has led to publication of numerous papers and three books on crustacean systematics. I have collaborated with other institutions in Australia and elsewhere and was heavily involved with the Census of Marine Life during its decade (2001–2010) and since. I am a foundation member of The Crustacean Society.
