She has been a WoRMS taxonomic editor since 2014, initially with a focus on Cryptochiroidea, but currently as an editor for all Decapoda in the Global Species Database DecaNet. Additionally she has been engaged in WoRMS selection committees, such as the WoRMS Achievement & Early Career awards and the WoRMS Top-Ten New Species awards. If elected for the Steering Committee, a particular focus would be on working towards a greater consistency across taxa and the addition and standardisation of traits data.
