*Tobias is a data manager at VLIZ and co-leads the data management activities of EMODnet Biology and EurOBIS. He has a background in marine science and biological oceanography, with experience in marine ecology, fisheries research, and biodiversity data collection.<\/p>
He completed his PhD on squid ecology and stock assessment in the Falkland Islands and subsequently worked on ecosystem modelling and environmental data analysis.
