The study aims at an inventory and valuation of features that plays an important role in the landscape morphology. This research is mainly based on the study of topographical maps and on fieldwork. Information about tourism, nature conservation agriculture and infrastructural facilities are used to work out a relevant framework for the future landscape in a way that the different landscape types maintain their representativeness as much as possible. Het onderzoek beoogt het vastleggen en evalueren van zowel fysische als cultuurlandschappelijke kenmerken die aan de basis liggen van een indeling in landschapstypen. In funktie van de actuele aanspraken inzake ruimtegebruik wordt een visie ontwikkeld voor een landschapszorg die gesteund is op een duurzame (economisch)-funktionele basis en bijdraagt tot een versterking van de historisch gegroeide trekken van het landschap.
