Its overall aim is, therefore, to enhance the\r\nknowledge bases of the participating regions. The specific aim of\r\nMAREDFlow is to promote the exchange of transport logistics domain\r\nknowledge in and between five AMRIE maritime regions, with a view to\r\nenhancing their economic development.\r\n\r\n<li>OBJECTIVES\r\n\r\nThe objectives of MAREDFlow are:\r\n1. To develop the novel concept of ‘knowledge development maps’ (KDMs)\r\nas a useful tool for transferring usable sector knowledge between\r\ncreators and users of knowledge within regions.\r\n2. To explore the sectoral requirements for effective knowledge transfer\r\nbetween regions.\r\n3. To improve the knowledge bases in the transport logistics sector within\r\nthe participating maritime regions as a mechanism for enhancing\r\nregional economic development.\r\n4. To enhance the development of the RTD capabilities of the participating\r\nregions utilising the KDMs.\r\n5.
