Description @en

The subproject aims to share the ENV1 protocol with other European regions (with an interest in the dredging of sand collected for beach nourishment of areas affected by erosion) and also verify whether it can be applied to other geographical areas. The subproject also aims to focus on the problems created by variations in turbidity levels and/or sedimentation rates which can be caused by the movement of relict sand (dredging and nourishing), by identifying specific methodologies which can estimate and monitor these parameters out at sea and near the coasts.

Il sottoprogetto è volto a condividere il protocollo ENV1 con altre regioni europee (interessate al dragaggio delle sabbie prelevate per il ripascimento dei litorali soggetti ad erosione) ed anche a verificarne l’applicabilità in condizioni geografiche diverse. Inoltre, il sottoprogetto è finalizzato ad approfondire il problema della variazione della torbidità e/o del tasso di sedimentazione che può essere indotto dalla movimentazione delle sabbie relitte (dragaggi e ripascimento), identificando le metodologie specifiche per la stima ed il monitoraggio di questi parametri al largo e in prossimità della costa.
