Information

Type
Project
Name
Mitigation of seagrass in the Eastern Scheldt
Description @en
Because of dike maintenance transplantation of seagrass to two different plots in the Eastern Scheldt is necessary. A possible problem is the reworking of sediment by Arenicola marina (Lugworm) thus preventing establishment of seeds. Transplantation experiments in exposed and sheltered replicates of 50x50m will be carried out.
