This information will in turn be sent to larger biodiversity initiatives such as <a href='http://www.iobis.org' target='_blank'>OBIS</a> - the information component of the Census of Marine Life (<a href='http://www.coml.org/' target='_blank'>COML</a>)-  and <a href='http://www.gbif.org/' target='_blank'>GBIF</a> (Global Biodiversity Information Facility). SCAR-MarBIN data policy protocols align with the <a href='http://www.ats.aq/' target='_blank'>Antarctic Treaty</a> (Art.
