Ongoing research is generating an extensive database on prodeltas for a variety of practical and scientific purposes. We realise that many investigators are\r\n<ol type=1)>\r\n<li>working in the same area with no co-ordination and different objectives,\r\n<li>facing independently similar problems in different prodeltas, or\r\n<li>working on prodeltas with only limited knowledge of the influence of adjacent sub aerial deltas. \r\n</li></ol type=1)>\r\nThese researches, or practical activities, when integrated, will result in a substantial improvement of our understanding of prodelta systems.
