  1. Protecting and upgrading the environment of the coastal zone. \r\n
  2. Securing the public aspect of the coast as a hosting area of conflicting human activities.\r\n
  3. Rationalizing the existing land uses. The approach has followed the need for a Planning and Management framework for the Coastal Zone as a spatial segment with special problems and perspectives relative to those of West Attiki that require coordination actions according to the perspective of Integrated Coastal Zone Management.\r\n
