Nevertheless, increasing human activities in the region result in increasing threats towards the conservation of these dolphins, motivating the creation and realization of the presented project.\r\nStudy the bio-ecology of the bottlenose dolphins in Northeast Patagonia to obtain the information needed for their conservation.","AbstractOtherLang":"Ondanks hun duidelijke aanwezigheid, is er erg weinig geweten over de tuimelaars in Argentinië, met een resulterend gebrek aan beschermingsmaatregelen voor deze dolfijnen. \r\nDoor dit gebrek aan bescherming en de toename aan menselijke activiteiten in Argentinië, is de tuimelaar verdwenen in gebieden waar ze in de jaren '80 heel frequent voorkwamen. Als gevolg van dit terugdringen van het verspreidingsgebied van de tuimelaars, is het Noordoosten van Patagonië één van de weinige gebieden geworden in Argentinië waar deze dolfijnen nog voorkomen.\r\nNiettegenstaande bestaan er ook in dit gebied toenemende bedreigingen voor het behoud van de tuimelaars, welke de creatie van dit huidige project motiveerden.
