Research on the physical and chemical transformations and on the dry and wet flux between atmosphere and sea surface.

Collectie van atmosferische aerosolmonsters boven en rond de Noordzee en in mariene achtergrondsgebieden. Bepaling van de chemische samenstelling van de aerosolen. Bepaling van de relatieve bijdrage van natuurlijke en antropogene bronnen (brongebieden) tot de atmosferische concentraties van de aerosolmassa en aerosolcomponenten. Onderzoek naar de fysische en chemische transformaties en naar de droge en natte flux tussen atmosfeer en zeewateroppervlak.
