The programme "Aquaculture" consists of 2 years: a first year of "Advanced Studies in Aquaculture" followed by one year "Specialised Studies in Aquaculture". The programme will provide training on the most important aspects of aquaculture for both marine and freshwater organisms and is spread over two academic years. The approach is both multi-disciplinary and interuniversitary. As a major innovative, students will spend 4 months at the Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands during the second year of their stay. A thesis has to be submitted before the final examination.

De opleiding "Aquacultuur" bestrijkt 2 jaar en bestaat uit één jaar "Aanvullende Studies in de Aquacultuur" gevolgd door één jaar "Gespecialiseerde Studies in de Aquacultuur". Het programma is opgebouwd rondom de belangrijkste aspecten van de aquacultuur van zowel marine als zoetwaterorganismen en wordt gespreid over twee academiejaren. De benadering is multidisciplinair en interuniversitair. Als belangrijkste vernieuwing zullen de studenten gedurende het tweede jaar vier maanden verblijven aan de Landbouwuniversiteit van Wageningen in Nederland. Tijdens het tweede jaar dient een afstudeerweek te worden gemaakt.
