We will use this problem as a model for improving the capacity of the DREME of the ENFI to strengthen its role in monitoring environmental and socio-economical data. These data are needed to support the decision making for environmental protection. Environmental sustainability is the focus,but it cannot be looked at in isolation from economic and social sustainability. In this context, economic, social, and ecological criteria will be defined and the project takes a rather broad perspective by supporting the development of the Integrated Development Planning framework in the region, mainly the implementation of the Management Plan of the MZ reserve which is being developed by the \"Haut Commisariat aux Eaux et Forêts et à la Lutte Contre Ia Desertification\", (HCEFLCD) of Morocco.
