Furthermore, time-lapse movies with the evolution of the coastal zone and information about toponyms and cartographers are made available.","AbstractOtherLang":"In HisGISKust worden historische kaarten uit de 16de, 17de en 18de eeuw die specifieke informatie over de Belgische kust en/of de Schelde bevatten, digitaal ontsloten. De kaarten worden gegeorefereerd zodat ze op een eenvormige manier kunnen gevisualiseerd en vergeleken worden. Van elk van de kaarten worden de afgeleide producten en de bijkomende informatie (metadata) met betrekking tot onder meer de nauwkeurigheid vrij aangeboden aan eindgebruikers.
