The ScheldeMonitor is a Flemish-Dutch knowledge and information system for research and monitoring in the Scheldt estuary. This portal gives you an overview of publications, institutions, projects, datasets, ... Related to the research and monitoring in the Scheldt estuary and provides access to measurements and data products such as maps, charts and indicators.
","AbstractOtherLang":"De ScheldeMonitor is een Vlaams-Nederlands kennis- en informatiesysteem voor onderzoek en monitoring in het Schelde-estuarium. Dit portaal geeft u een overzicht van publicaties, instituten, projecten, datasets,... gerelateerd aan het onderzoek en de monitoring in het Schelde-estuarium en biedt toegang tot meetwaarden en dataproducten zoals kaarten, indicatoren en grafieken. Binnen ScheldeMonitor wordt het dataportaal ingezet door de Vlaams-Nederlandse ScheldeCommissie (www.vnsc.eu) en haar werkgroep Onderzoek en Monitoring (werkgroep O&M) voor het herverdelen van de gegevens verzameld binnen het geïntegreerd monitoringsprogramma van het Schelde-estuarium. Het gaat om hydro- en morfodynamische, ecologische en fysisch-chemische gegevens, verzameld door de meetdiensten van de Vlaamse en Nederlandse overheid. Het geïntegreerd aanbieden van deze gegevens vormt een belangrijke meerwaarde in het proces van de evaluatie van de ontwikkeling van het Schelde-estuarium als multifunctioneel estuarien watersysteem.
