This project consists of regular monitoring of the beaches for dead birds. All birds are measured and determined whether or not they are oiled. This is used to arras the impact of oil pollution on seabirds. The biometric data allow us to determine the geographic origin of the birds. The former Institute for Nature Conservation was a partner in this project

Dit project omvat het regelmatig tellen en verzamelen van vogels die aan onze kusten aanspoelen. Alle vogels worden gemeten en gecontroleerd op de aanwezigheid van olie. Op basis hiervan proberen we de impact van olievervuiling op zeevogels te bepalen. De biometrische gegevens stellen ons in staat om de geografische oorsprong van de vogels te bepalen. Het voormalige Instituut voor Natuurbehoud was een partner in dit project
