Additional information is provided for <i>M. callosum</i> together with a discussion on intraspecific variability. A new species of <i>Metepsilonema</i> spec. based on females only, is described but remain unnamed. <i>M. comptum</i> sp.nov. and <i>M. corrugatum</i> sp.nov. are also occurring in the Mediterranean Sea.
