Voor een ecotoxicologische risicoschatting is een beoordeling van de waterkwaliteitsgegevens nodig op basis van toxiciteitsgegevens uit de literatuur. Hiervoor is een research in het AQUIRE databestand (Aquatic Information Retrieval Data Base) van het US-EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency) uitgevoerd, aangevuld met een literatuuronderzoek.
